Education and skill development are important prerequisites for a better living. They are also the driving force behind the economic growth and development of a country. Studies have shown that children who receive proper education are more likely to grow up as better leaders and contributors to society. While the "Right to Education" remains a fundamental human right, education remains out of reach for many around the world. This could be due to inefficient and improper resource allocation, or marginalization of certain groups within the community. NGOs have always been at the forefront of promoting and supporting community changes. They wear many hats in addition to playing an important role in social development, citizen partnership, and improving the living conditions of the poor.
